I’m taking part in a quaker mystery SAL! Oh I like it so much. I didn’t join in for the first section, however I caved and joined when part 2 was released. Part 3 will be out March 25th so I had to scurry to catch up.

I’m using 28 count pearl linen (white) and Waterlilies by Caron in Blueberry with DMC 103 as an accent. I really like it!!!

One of my favourite designers? Her name is Jamie and her website is called White Willow Stitching. Every month on the first she releases her latest pattern pieces. Today is the first so be sure to go check out her new patterns update page.
Jamie has a little bit of everything for everyone. She’s been doing this forever and a day and owning several of her patterns I can attest to the quality of the work. There is a lot of fantasy patterns divided into the various categories, dragons, fairies, elves, etc. She has spiritual patterns for pagans. She has Native American patterns. She has wonderful scenery patterns. AND she has ANIMALS!
If you have a spare few hours take some time and go through her galleries. You’ll be amazed at the variety she has.
And of course she’s just the nicest person LOL!
I’ve spent the morning going through her animals and her new patterns thinking to myself Why don’t I have any of her animal patterns? I must rectify that soon. Currently I have several in the Maria Van Bruggen gallery. My one daughter adores the little girls in that gallery, she thinks the ones with the big eyes look like the Bratz dolls that are out there. My other daughter is big time into fairies. I have one called Midnight Iris that I will be doing to honour her and her spirit. AND how could I resist the Nordic Vikings?
So now I’m looking at the animals. Oh I want to get some. But which ones???? I adore that Bull Mastiff that is in the new category, but I don’t even know any bull mastiffs. Can I stitch it anyway?
So go take a look around, enjoy yourself. Maybe you’ll find one or two that you can’t live without. If you do get one, or two, or twelve, you won’t be disappointed. The patterns are big and clear, I have a lady in my WIP album that looks so beautiful, so the finished works are well worth it. And who can go wrong with the price? Its hard to find patterns that inexpensive and have the quality to boot.
HAVE FUN LOOKING!
