I’ve finally sewn some things up…that’s always my downfall…the finishing.
There are 2 ornaments for exchanges, a pillow stitched by my youngest daughter and my quickest WIP (the others are BAPS) a quaker reindeer.
Christmas Comes is my own design published in the December 2007 issue of The Gift of Stitching. This is for an exchange.
Also for an exchange is my own design Catch a Falling Flake. I love purples!
Lisa made this for her daddy. She did pretty good in actually finishing something! (definitely does not take after her mommy). I helped out with some of the lettering and the charms but the best things about the Pine Mountain Pillow Kits are their top quality tuck pillows and their cute and to the point stitching, they finish off beautifully. Yay Lisa.
The last item is my WIP. It was published in the 2006 Just Cross Stitch magazine in the special ornament issue and is designed by The Workbasket. I find it’s simplicity extremely appealing when I’ve had a busy day.
