I’m craving spring!

We are once again having a weekend of snow, snow and more snow.  Between that and the wind, it’s like a blizzard out there!

So I pulled out some floral fabric and started stitching.  It was quick so I even had time to sew it into a pillow.  I love projects you can finish in one day!

Sometimes, he’s just a frog.  That’s a lesson we all can learn, not every frog we kiss turns into a prince!  I keep telling my girls this.

I had fun tonight sewing this into a pillow along with a couple of other finished projects, one was from 2005!!!! 

Here is a Margaret Sherry design called Purrfect Partners.  It was a cover kit in a UK magazine that has long since disappeared somewhere.  I’m sorry I can’t share the issue number.

And this is my 2005 finish!  It’s a Stitcher’s Habit design I believe (someone correct me if I’m wrong, it was so long ago!).  Finally I can display it.  So many finishes in that rubbermaid tub, I better keep sewing!

By the way, I finally took a picture of my new baby.  My Christmas present.  My Bernina.  She’s an Activa 230.  Isn’t she beautiful?

I have another quilting class on wednesday so stay tuned!!!!  This time, we’re doing curves.
