I had a scare on the way home afterwork today. Literally within sight of my driveway.
It was a momentary loss of concentration…but sometimes that is all it takes.

Viv, thank G-d you are okay. There is NOTHING scarier than those momentary “vacations”. Have a nice cup of tea (or a good hearty shot), curl up and just breathe….

Thanks ladies, I have to admit, I was pretty shaken. You get the thoughts in your head…but what could have happened.
Learning experience time! Just because you live in the middle of no where, and it’s the middle of the afternoon, there can be things on the road spring up if you aren’t watching.
And I learned I have reflexes LOL.
It’s been a long couple of days of hearings so I guess my mind was half on work. From now on, leave it at the office! Have a great weekend everyone.
